Introducing the New Prompt Router: Collapsible Sidebar, 11 AI Models, and a Clean Canvas

When we first launched Prompt Router, our mission was simple: eliminate the friction of manually copying and pasting the exact same prompt across multiple browser tabs to compare LLM outputs. Writing once and running everywhere quickly resonated with thousands of developers, researchers, content creators, and AI enthusiasts.

Today, we are thrilled to unveil our biggest update yet — a ground-up redesign crafted for speed, clarity, and power user workflows.

1. Collapsible Left Sidebar: Your Command Center

Rather than cluttering the writing area with tabs and chips, we have centralized your workflow inside an ergonomic, collapsible sidebar:

• Prompt Libraries Directory: Direct access to all 11 curated libraries — including Dev & Coding, Writing, Marketing, Startup, and Data Analysis.
• Saved Prompts & Favorites: Save your favorite custom prompts locally. Pin key prompts to the top with a single click (★) and manage your collection effortlessly.
• Prompt History: Never lose a prompt again. Every prompt you route to an AI provider is automatically logged with timestamps and colored badges indicating which models you queried.
• Real-Time Search: Instantly filter across all templates, saved prompts, and history entries as you type.

2. The Clean Canvas: Distraction-Free Prompting

We removed the outer card wrappers, heavy borders, and redundant headers. Your prompt textarea now sits directly on the canvas, giving you maximum vertical breathing room and a focused writing experience.

Below the textarea, you'll find intuitive keyboard-shortcut badges right on the buttons:

• ⌘C / Ctrl+C: Copy prompt to clipboard with instant tactile feedback.
• ⌘S / Ctrl+S: Save prompt directly into your local library.
• Esc: Clear prompt or start a fresh query in a split second.

3. Expanding to 11 Frontier AI Models

The AI landscape moves at breakneck speed. While OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google remain essential, frontier models from around the globe offer astonishing reasoning and multimodal capabilities. We have expanded our roster to 11 supported AI providers, welcoming three world-class additions:

• Kimi (Moonshot AI): A favorite for massive context windows, document synthesis, and nuanced creative writing.

Along with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok, and Mistral Le Chat, you can now cross-examine 11 leading LLMs simultaneously.

Our core philosophy remains unchanged: your prompts are yours alone. Prompt Router requires no login, no account creation, and stores zero data on remote servers. All saved prompts, preferences, and history remain strictly inside your browser's local storage.
